Bio Photo I have lived in Graves County for all of my life,a total of 40 years. I grew up in the small community of Lynnville,in south Graves just a little south of 94. I recently became interested in the history of my family and their ancestors and am now "hooked" on finding anything and everything that I can. My dad never knew or ever heard of some of the names that I have found, such as his grandfather or great grandfather. He said that he never heard his dad talk of any of them. I recently discovered that our family has a cemetery,The Thomas Cemetery and thanks to a friend that I have discovered through find a grave;I added it as a new cemetery this morning. It's all very interesting and I will continue to search.

RE: Leo T. Wilkerson
Leo's father, and my great-grandfather, were brothers. I've done a lot of research in that area.

RE: One more question
just go to the memorial you want the photo on and at the right next to the top in the memorial you will see a ( request photo ) icon. just click on that and your done.

RE: Request
you just make the request on the memorial and it will automatically be sent to the nearest contributor to the memorial.

RE: Not found
Stephanie what is the name of the cemetery and where is it at maybe it is listed under a different name but you are probably right im sure someone hasn't added it yet do you have any names that are buried there if so you might do a search for some of the names on find a grave just choose the state and county that way it won't show them all for the whole state.

To add a cemetery then first you add a burial record then choose the family and friends section then add the name then proceed to step 2 then it ask where they are buried then choose the fist few letters of the cemetery and the state and county and if it comes up with not found then to the right side should say add a new cemetery then just add the name and state and county it might ask which town it is close to if you don't know then you can always edit it later after you create the first memorial then you can go back and add more to it since it will be listed now on find a grave.

If you can't figure it out then I can make it for you all I need is the name of the cemetery and state and county I can make up a name for someone for a memorial then after some are added later then I can delete my fake name from there.

RE: Photo contributor
Stephanie right now find a grave is having trouble with the map showing up here is a note from them.

Note: We are experiencing an issue with our maps
but expect that they will be back online shortly.
Thanks for your patience.

But the best way is from your profile page then go to edit your profile and if you see the box for a zipcode then add whatever zipcode you want to be your home zip then in the preferences check the I want to be a photo volunteer then check the email me with photo request in my area and most the time you will get the request in an email.
you can also check anything else that you want to like enable messages and such.

I see that I made the memorial for your grand dad and im sure your grandmother Bessie.

Do you want me to transfer them over to you that way you can add info to them without having to send the edits to me incase if you wanted to add anything.

Anyone can add photos to any memorials unless it is a famous person then find a grave will have to approve it first.

% total photos can be added per memorial then if you want to add more then it has to be sponsored for 5 dollars then one can add up to 20 photos and the advertisements are removed also.

Holler if you need my help anymore.
