Bio and Links
Bio Photo Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I'm actively researching a number of family names, including CORNMAN, CORMAN, JENSEN, ERICKSON, NELSON, WILKINSON, CRUYS, LARSON, KLEVEN (just to name a few).

Excluding my own Family, Friends and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are Family, you should have them. If no Family comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe its a former Co-worker, Girlfriend/Boyfriend, Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe a Long Lost Friend. You get it :) Just ask!

If you send me a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you are connected to the person. Thanks.

Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.

Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.

Find A Grave's third purpose is a genealogical resource. If a listing or contribution corresponds with only the primary purpose, it has fulfilled its part of Find A Grave's mission and is not required to correspond with the second and third purposes. Fulfilling the other two is welcomed, encouraged and deeply appreciated, but as far as Find A Grave's purpose goes, a memorial page isn't lacking if it does not.

I formerly lived in Minnesota for nearly 50 years and still have deep roots there. I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I Love finding hidden treasures on people and interesting history in my area.

I welcome your reviews of the memorials I have posted and maintain, and I welcome any information you might provide to help compose the best memorials we can.

Melvin Day
Hello. Thank you for the additional information for Melvin Day. Do you happen to have his middle name? Any other biographical information that might be good to add here?
We appreciate your input here.
Thanks very much.

RE: Robert Nelson
You are welcome. If you have any family or comrades in that cemetery let me know. My husband is a thirty-eight year veteran and it was an honor to be able to enter some of those memorials.

RE: Cornman Branch
My husband is a direct descendant of Anna Cornman who married David Wolf. Two of their daughters married brothers (Duey). We are on the road right now on our way to FL; will be back home in 3 - 4 weeks. If you go to the link below you will see Anna memorial; planning on going back to PA this summer and do some research.

BTW, if you can't tell, I have an addiction to Find A Grave!!!

RE: Elouise Day Peterson
Re: your message not about Elouise but her mother. Have you looked on line at the Minnesota Death Index to see what information is provided. Sometimes a cemetery is listed. If you have acess to might be some info...if you need me to help with any available records I might have send me the information you have.

RE: Charles Merrill
Gary! Nice to hear from you. Drop me an email sometime at if you ever need more info.

Leonard and Julia Cornman are buried in the small Hersey Cemetery in Hersey, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Their grave is unmarked. Barney and Mary Bragg are buried in the Virginia Cemetery, Virginia, St. Louis County, Minnesota...and I believe that their grave is also unmarked.

RE: Chester and Violet Nelson
Glad to help Gary. Actually our trees have a slight intersection...Violet is a first cousin 2x removed for me (her father and my great-grandfather were brothers). So take good care of her!

All my best, Mark
