I've been tracing my family for at least 20 years.|
direct surnames include:
Abel, Yoders, Keller - WV & PA & OH
Leithe, Latz, Kleinsorge - WV & PA
Dacquisto, D'Amato, Machi - Sicily & Milwaukee area
My husband's side:
Goldsmith, Strader - central WV
Sims, Williams - central WV
My first daughter's father's family :
Lassan, Horvath - Ohio & WV & Hungary
Darrah, Ford - WV
I grew up in Ohio & Marshall County. I've been living in Lewis County for over 10 years, now.
I'm currently photographing MacPelah Cemetery in Weston and Friendship Cemetery in Jane Lew.
I've also done some of Peterson and the Masonic Cemetery in Weston.
I have all of St Bridget Church Cemetery photographed, if I can find the pictures to upload them....
I love walking the cemeteries to take pictures of the stones. It's very peaceful. I usually brush off the grass clippings and dirt and leaves before taking a photo.
I also love looking up the people online and trying to fill in their information and connect children with their parents and put spouses together. It's made slightly easier through one of my favorite websites: www.wvculture.org/vrr
It allows me to look up birth records to 1914, death records to 1964, and marriage records to about 1970, for West Virginia.
I work full time and have a little girl and a husband tugging at my shirttails.
From our older daughter, we have 2 precious grandsons.
My other stress relievers are reading, crocheting, and sleeping.

Angela looks like we could be related! On my dad's side, my nano had D'Amato's as cousins and one of them was Frank who was married to Maddalena Busalacchi! (I did add a picture of their headstone on find a grave) My dad's generation had over 45 1st cousins! So there are a lot of people to research. This fall and winter I'm planning to work more on genealogy so if I come across anything I'll send it your way. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org

You are welcome. I've been working on my family tree on my dad's side for about a year now. He grew up in Milwaukee and his dad was from Porticello Sicily. We have D'Amato's on his dad side so whenever I'm in Milwaukee I try to spend some time at Holy Cross. If I find any D'Amato headstone I take a picture (someday I may find out they are related) I do love your burial records with the personal pictures they are very nice to look at.

Angela, thanks so much for the nice photos for Charleton & Luary. These photos help so much in making sure names/dates are correct. In this case, edits were needed. Appreciate your help.

Thank your your time to go and take a photo of this memorial.
Hi there.....I came across your profile because of the picture you posted of my grandma Donnis P McCue Henline and many others. I am Richard Joseph Henlines daughter. I think you all know him as "dicky joe". I am very new to this site but will be looking over all of your things. I have many others to add if you'd like. Thanks for your hard work!!!
