Creating & managing memorials pages
Hi T Jeffrey:

I am happy to transfer memorials over to you manage. Putting links and family groups together is great fun. In your mission to do some genealogy, however, please be very careful to make sure that you do not create duplicate memorial pages. You can prevent this by doing a search first within the cemetery where you know your relatives are buried. If the page already exists for your relative, Find a Grave rules do not allow that a second (ie duplicate) page be created. The Find a Grave administrators have the power to come in and delete duplicate pages. So if you create them, your hard work has a good chance of being undone. The rule is one grave per person and Find a Grave does enforce that.

Woodlawn cemetery is pretty close to 100% uploaded from the city database. Its maybe missing some burials from 2012 & 2013 but the rest should already be in Find a Grave. Hillcrest cemetery is much further behind, with maybe about 15% of the burials added to Find a Grave. So there are lots of people to be added from Hillcrest. However always check first before creating a new one. Hillcrest cemetery does have a search engine on their website that lets you search for burials: If the burial is not already in Find a grave, you can add it.
