RE: Rebecca Reed
I would be happy to do as you requested but that is something that Findagrave does automatically. It is a relatively new feature they have added. You will need to request that both parents be connected to Charles and Elizabeth and then Find A Grave does the rest. Sorry I can't add them for you.

RE: Parents of William Walker Grose
Thanks for pointing that out. I really dropped the ball that day. I guess I was thinking one generation back to far.
Are you related to the Grose's up there in Nicholas Co, WV?

RE: Kelly's
Wow! Great information. I've completely re-written Margaretta Kelly's bio to include almost all of it.

I do not live in Illinois, but would be interested to know the name of the family who owns the orchard. I have many, many relatives in Calhoun County.

It's interesting that the Kelly family moved to Carroll County, Missouri. I have quite a few relatives on the other side of the family who also moved there. Several of them married people named Kelly. I realize it's a common name, but I'm going to have to check more records to see if any of my Kellys out there could have been related to the Calhoun County Kellys.

Thanks again for all your help. I really appreciate it.

Johanna Kelly and Margaret Kelly

Thanks so much for the additional information about the Kelly family. I have been working to incorporate as much of it as possible into Johanna Kelly's bio.

I bet you are absolutely right that Johanna died in childbirth. I added that to the bio, but noted that it has not yet been confirmed.

I found Patrick's mother, Margaret Kelly. I had her listed at St. Mary's Cemetery (same place as Johanna) in Brussels under the name Margaretta Kelly. (See memorial #43377492)

All the facts that you gave me fit, so I added the name of her husband as being Charles. I had been unable to find his name until you gave it to me, so thanks for that. I would guess he died about 1848 or 1849. I added some of the family story you told me to Margaret's bio, too.

I wrote to the person who created Patrick Kelly's memorial and asked that it now be linked to his mother.

I think the family story is becoming a little clearer now with your additional information. Sounds like they sure had their share of hard times. It makes you proud to come from such strong people, doesn't it?

Thanks again for your help. Please keep me up-dated when and if you find more.

Happy holidays!

RE: Clara Hardway Stanley
She was daughter of Charles Laten and Lilly (Price) Hardway. Her parents lived in Gallia and Meigs Counties. I do not know where her parents were laid to rest, but her paternal grandmother has a monument in Calvary Baptist Cemetery in Rio Grande, Ohio.

Jacob Rinker
I did add Jacob Rinker to Jacob Rinker Cemetery. Wonder why the person who added the cemetery left so many people out? Will try to correct everything as soon as possible.
