Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a devoted wife & mother of five children, and Nana of six grandchildren. Family is everything to me. Now that my own children are grown I find I have the time to devote to my family history work. I am really excited by the work already done by all those who have gone before me.

I firmly believe that knowing "who you are & where you came from" gives you strong roots. And knowing the trials and hardships endured by our ancestors gives us strength to endure our own.

I remember:

Stories of crossing the plains with the early Mormon pioneers that my great grandmother Nancy Loveland shared with me about her father. Also, a family reunion when I was very young and this same great grandmother crocheted at least 100 visors made out of soda cans & various colors of yarn so that every great grandchild had a visor made especially for them by her.

Working in my grandmother Eltheria Montgomery's garden and raspberry patch alongside her and the most wonderful treat of fresh raspberries covered in fresh cream afterward (she owned a dairy farm). And kneeling at the chairs around the dining table for family prayer each night no matter how old and tired she and Grampa were.

Listening at my grandmother Medena Christensen's knee as she played the piano and sang. And choosing a children's book from her personal library each visit to take home and keep for my very own. She was the best cook.

Many wonderful hours spent listening to my grandfather Leonard Christensen's "bear stories". Not to mention the year I turned seven and I accidentally "caught" him & Gma on Christmas eve as Santa & Mrs Claus....for years I believed 100% that MY grandparents were the REAL Santa & Mrs Clause.

These are the things that should never be lost, but passed down from generation to generation. Having strong family bonds has carried me through some pretty tough times.

If anyone has any photos or links for me to add to my own tree, please do not hesitate to contact me.

If I begin adding memorials in my area for other families, I will be happy to transfer those memorials to family members.

This Memorial #18569429 isnt linked to her parents, but its owner is making a lot of transfers, and I thought you might be interested in it.

Leonard Christensen Entry
Welcome to Find A Grave Julie. I took the liberty of re-entering Leonard's Memorial with all I could do before and am transferring the completed entry to you. I also linked Leaonard's parents to him, I hope with your approval. In addition, I sent a note to htigerlily explaining what has been done. I am pleased to see we are all together now. Please contact me if I can be of further assistance.

RE: Leonard Christensen
Leonard Christensen should still be remembered- why don't you recreate the memorial then you can manage it and they cannot take it down? Let me know if you put it back up. Thanks. I am sorry family members were not understanding. If you have a copy of the photo that was posted maybe I have a label for it.
