|Any corrections submitted to me will usually be completed within 72 hours. Please don't ask me to link to unknown burials. This is find-a-grave and not guess-a-grave. If you don't know where someone is buried, either find out or wait for someone else to add them. If I maintain a memorial for someone who's not in my family but in yours or you personally knew them, I have no problem transferring the memorial to you. I don't care who maintains what but PLEASE! do corrections in a timely manner or transfer them to the person doing family research who will post corrections in a timely manner. |
If you want to use any grave photos I've taken, feel free to use them anywhere and anyway you want. I'd appreciate credit for them but it's not mandatory. Photos of grave stones are very helpful to those who are far away from their family's burial location.
If you sponsor a memorial that I maintain, send a message on the corrections tab and I'll automatically transfer that memorial to you.

Are you related to Mary Louise Crone McCollum? Or a family friend? Sorry I have not been on line much and saw that you added a picture of her and her husband. If so let me know.

|Colleen Haney Morgan||RE: Chalk on Stones|
It was never my intention to vandalize cemeteries, but rather to preserve the information that was fading in to oblivion. I did however revise my techniques when I realized that chalk was not an appropriate method and that it could do more harm than good. Thank you for bringing it to my attention and also thank you for the work that you do for all of us.

Thanks for taking the picture of Lot Lindley's marker. I really appreciate you taking it for me. He is my great great great grandfather.
|Jeri Herbert||RE: Rush Creek Cemetery updates|
What updates are you talking about? All I've received from you were the photos for Miriam Lindley's memorial. I sent you an e-mail concerning more photos, but did not get a response from you. I only have twelve memorials in Rush Creek & they are all relatives. There are others connected to my relatives, but they are not my memorials. Who do you have updates for? If you have something to update on mine, I'd be glad to update anything you have that I don't have. I don't do cemeteries - only family members. In a message I sent to you I asked you whether Miriam's marker was in the old Rush Creek Cemetery across from the church, as the picture doesn't look like it's in the regular Rush Creek Cemetery. If she's in the old cemetery, then I need to move her to the Rush Creek Friends Church Cemetery. That one is usually called the Old Rush Creek Cemetery, but someone created the cemetery name as Rush Creek Friends Church Cemetery for Find A Grave.
Hope to hear from you again.

Thanks so much for the pictures you took of the area of his burial. It's great to have this documented with the photos.
