I have always been fascinated by family history, but did not get involved in serious genealogy work until 2013. Find A Grave has been an invaluable resource for my work, thanks to the many kind volunteers involved. |
My main goal currently is to assemble management of my family's memorials, to link them to each other, and preserve their memory for future generations. So much was lost over many years, and great distance, as family moved away from each other and dear ones passed away, their connections were broken. In my heart, I believe that I have been charged with the task of reuniting my family, and recording their history.
Thank you to those who have helped me in this endeavor, and created, photographed, and transferred memorials for my family.

|SKS||RE: Callie Cartwright and Redrick Cartwright|
Thanks for getting back with me. I do believe that Callie's father is Redrick Cartwright,
Find A Grave#46273137, I just don't know if I think the information on his memorial is all correct. I have an obituary for him that my grandmother had, he would have been her grandpa. I also know that Callie's mother was Mary Nees, and Redrick married her 1865 in Coles Co. Ill. Redrick is in 1900 Indian Territory census with his 2nd wife Hannah and Callie was with him there.
I have gotten ahold of some distant cousins and have asked them, hope to hear from them soon. I will let you know what I find.
Please do the same if you find new info.

I'm related to the Marsden side. My 2nd great grandfather is Thomas Marsden, brother of Jane Marsden Thomas.

How exciting! How are you descended from James and Mary? What is your lineage back to them?

Transfer has been made.
|RTG||RE: Alles family|
I do have some additional Alles family photos. My great aunt was Margaret Emma Gartley Alles. My Aunt Martha had photos which had belonged to Lydia Alles. Aunt Martha identified some of the Alles family including 1 of Fred, 1 of Margaret & several of Chris, Flora, Lydia and Flora's husband & children.
There are also a couple of dozen photos which Aunt Martha could not identify but felt that they were Alles related since we are able to identify the Gartleys.
If you like I will gladly email you copies of the Alles photos not on find a grave. I would also send you the "unknowns" if you want them.
Which of the siblings of Chris is your direct ancestor?

That is good news. I am happy I was able to help out. If you do decide to have markers made, please let me know and I'd be happy to take photos for you. Take care.

I transferred both of Perry Thomas's Memorials to you. I had his parent's memorial page but had to delete them because it was a duplicate.
