I have always sort of been the family gatherer. In 1989 I initiated our semi-annual reunion and they have been going ever since.

But it wasn't until our most recent reunion that the genealogy bug bit me hard. I hate to admit it but I don't think a day has gone by in the last two months that I haven't spent at least 30 minutes doing research....many times sneaking in a few minutes before work or during my lunch hour.

I'm excited to find new information about distant relatives and encouraged by the amount of digital information available every day to make the searching much easier....however, I already feel a trip to Arkansas coming soon.

Malcolm Telford -Canemah Cemetery
Would you kindly make a correction on the Canemah Cemetery in Oregon City, Oregon Find A Grave site for:

Malcolm G. Telford, #120962392.
Malcolm never married.
The site has his sister "Maxine Telford Carswell" listed as his wife.
This same misinformation should be corrected on Maxine Telford Carswell's site also.

Maxine Virginia Telford was married to Edwin Carswell.

All help appreciated, thank you.

RE: Dotridge Nelson
Yes, you may use any way that you wish. I tried to get the mold off her date, but didn't have much luck. The next time I go I will try again.

Help :)
Hello Paula. I'm Lauren Atkinson and I'm doing a family history project on Thomas Jefferson Smith and his wife Amanda Melvina Roberts. I noticed you had their exact birthdates and death dates and I was wondering how you knew those dates and if you have sources for them or if they have been passed down through your family. Please let me know. Thanks so much!

RE: Letha Ozola SMITH Weeks
Paula, I figured some of it out. Letha married George Basil Weeks on June 28, 1932 at Delta, Delta, CO.

Letha married Marion E. Lee on November 4, 1975 Clark Co., NV (most likely, Las Vegas).

Letha married Reese Franklin Smith on January 12, 1990 in Clark Co., NV.

I found records for these three, nothing on a Bud Pape. This will get figured out. There was also a Letha I. nee WEEKS. I think, that has caused some confusion. Connie

RE: Letha Ozola SMITH Weeks
Paula, thanks so much for getting back to me. The only husband I locate besides George B. Weeks is a Marion E. Lee who married Letha I. Weeks on Nov. 4, 1975 in Las Vegas, Clark, NV; no others. Connie

Letha Ozola SMITH Weeks
Paula, I see that you are related to Letha. I am on the Weeks side. Do you know for sure she had those husbands? I find marriage records for Letha I. Weeks twice but, there is a Letha I. WEEKS (maiden name) also. I am trying to sort this out. Any help would be appreciated. Connie

Roberts in Green Cem.
Hi Paula,

I have added photos for James & Zephaniah Roberts, but they are actually listed in the wrong Green Cem. I have notified the person who created the memorials, to see if she can move them to the correct Green Cem. (the one near Bedford Lake).
