I have been working with genealogy for over 30 years. Just thought it might be fun to help others with finding the gravestones of their loved ones while I continue to work on mine. I work with Willamette National requests as a means to give back to our service men and women for their service to keeps us a free nation.|

From the street view and aerial view at Google Maps, I was able to identify "Garden A". That is still a rather sizable area to "browse" through, and I really appreciate it. It appears that there are quite a few plots with no grave markers (20 - 25% ?), but without looking at the cemetery records it is impossible to know which of these are occupied. I will just have to make sure that when we come to the Portland area it is on a weekday when the office is open, so we can inquire there for more details.

Thank you very much for your efforts on these requests; I really appreciate it! I am trying to obtain photos of their graves for a terminally-ill cousin in Australia; they were like adoptive grandparents for her.
I just called the cemetery office to clarify the location of the graves. The location that I was given was Garden A, Sec. 117N, # 6/7. Is that the same area that you were searching? Their index did not indicate whether or not the graves were marked, but I am assuming that the estate had sufficient funds to purchase a grave marker. The receptionist stated that there were other records which could answer that question, but that she did not have time to check those records presently.
I live in Harrisburg and do not get to the Portland area very often, but if necessary we can stop by the cemetery the next time we are in the vicinity.
Thanks again for your assistance, and have a wonderful day!

Thank you very much for the quick work on the photos for our relatives at Forest Lawn. I especially appreciate the fact that you included their plot information with the photos; I have copied that data over to the "front page" of each memorial.
Thanks again, and have a great week!
