You are more than welcome, Stacie! Let me know if you have any more questions. There is a LOT of Abbott info out there. Nearly all the folks in the AFC are somehow related - by marriage or descent.

PS - you can find them listed in the 1900 US Census for Royalton, Windsor, Vermont as well.

If you look at the Abbott family site, and find Mary Emily Abbott's page, and click on her documents, you will see that her death record indicates her death date, age at death, and parents; listed as Benjamin F. Abbott and Sarah (SIC) Ellis.

I'd think this is valid enough information, but of course you have to be the judge. I've done a lot of research on these family connections; there's little doubt in my mind that Mary Emily married Warren French and remained married to him until her death in 1902.

Her and Warren's marriage records are there, too, with parents listed.

Happy hunting... and let me know if you need more.

Warm regards to a relative!

PS - Mary Emily Abbott is the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Abbott Sr. and Seraph Ellis. She married Warren Leonard French on 11 Mar, 1858 in Stockbridge. Minister was. Rev. William Howard. They are both buried in the Abbott Family Cemetery. Let me know what else you may need.... most of the basic info is on the site I referred you to!

I'd love to help you; have quite a bit of info about the Abbotts. Benjamin owned property right up from the cemetery after his father died. He was brother to my ggg, John Abbott, and his wife Seraph was sister to my ggg-grandmother, Lucy. I have a bit of info on both families.

Write me and let me know what you're stuck on... are you trying to figure out when Mary died, or who she married? I have her siblings, too...

This site shows you the cemetery the way it looks today. You can see Benjamin and Seraphs' graves there. I built the site - John Schroeder (another relative descending from Daniel - Benjamin's brother Elam) took the photos.
