I'm fortunate enough to live in an area with many really old cemeteries (Gloucester County, NJ). Have always enjoyed walking around them looking at all the names and dates, now with FindaGrave, I have a reason to! It's really sad though that there are so many old headstones that are completely eroded and cannot be read, or knocked over... but I will do my best to find any requests that come my way! |
Also, you don't ever need my permission to use any of the photos I take... if it's your relative or friend, the pictures are more yours than mine.
My favorite inscription so far:
"What happy hours we once enjoyed,
How sweet their memory still,
But death has left a loneliness,
this world can never fill."

I have added Hiram T. Paul as the father of John Paul. I also deleted the gravestone photo that I had posted....your photos are so much better. Thanks, Laura

Hello Rich. Some time ago you had taken a photo of my mother's headstone. It is shared with her sister, my aunt, at the Wenonah Cemetery. Could you add that same photo to her memorial as well. Her memorial # is 155258824. The photo was originally posted to memorial # 63608475. Thanks once again.
