You are welcome. It was a very bad time. Several of the headstones in the area have a 1918 dates on them, probably victims of the pandemic. My dad lost four siblings as a result of it.

You're welcome! Actually, it appears the stone has been in place for a number of years, as seened in the photo.
It has survived many earthquakes since ,,, and is in better condition than many others that have been broken because of these natural occurances that happen throughtout this region!
The grave is locatrd about 10 feet from a beautiful, old, and vr
very large California Oak, that shades it in the summer, and protects it from winter storms. It's located in a very peaceful section of the cemetery!
