Clyde Rainey Wendy, were you the one who requested the grave photos for Clyde Rainey? I fulfilled that request and then noticed that the requestor's name disappeared. If you're related (or just interested), you might find what I discovered interesting. Clyde was part of a "Spruce Squadron," which piqued my interest. It's a really interesting story of how the US Army became intertwined with the lumber industry here in the Northwest during WWI, and Clyde was a part of that. I connected with Bob Swanson, who posted some history of this unit. He has updated his site to include Clyde's gravestone and his unit history.
