RE: Eglington
That's great that you were able to go to Jesse Chew Cemetery! I'm really surprised that Eglington didn't have a record of Tia, somebody put her obit on her memorial page and it says she's buried in Eglington? You didn't tell the office you are a findagraver did you? They don't like findagravers and might have just told you they didn't have a record for her.

What certificates do you have? I have all the death certs that are available from PA.

RE: Harry Enigk
My husband's great-grandfather, Herbert, was Harry's brother. I've traced the family as much as I can but can't find them back in Germany. I believe all, or nearly all, of the Enigks in the U.S. descend from his great-grandfather, Traugott, who was the immigrant. Harry left Lycoming County, and his sister married and moved to OH. The other two brothers stayed in the Williamsport area in PA.

Thank you for the photo. I'm surprised he didn't have a stone, as he was fairly well off financially, at least in his earlier life.

RE: Eglington
Good Luck! I've been trying to find Tia for a while now. I wrote to her brother (the one requesting) to ask him if he could tell me where she is buried, but he never got back to me. I'm going to Eglington tonight after work to clean off markers for SueB who is visiting NJ tomorrow, maybe I'll see you there!

Thank you for your efforts. Especially in this heat.
I am in touch with another Find A Grave member who is trying to find location information on his grave. Since he died in 1949, you wouldn't think his grave would be sinking yet, but who knows? I will sit tight and see what she can find out before I give up on his being there.
