1st Spouse: Married first wife Charlotte G. Green on Mar 20, 1853 in Boston, MA. She was born (b. 1825, Lisbon, ME); father Henry Green.
In 1870 George, she and daughter Mary were living in Boston. He working as a candy manufacturer

2nd Spouse: Sarah Smith (b. 1825 Maine)

Daughter: Sulenia T Smith (b. 1847 in Massachusetts)
Daughter: Mary A. (b. 1852 in Massachusetts) Worked in a Hosiery Factory.

Notes: George Clinton Smith joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in September 1838 at Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, being baptized by D. MacArthur.

He was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in November 1866 at a conference held at Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts, by W. W. Blair.

George served a mission to Boston and organized a branch which he presided over for eight years. He served in the presidency of the Massachusetts District and also over the St. Joseph, Missouri Branch. He died from paralysis.
