Charles Walthall
thank you
on the contrary, thank you for all that you post, esp. photos, but also newspaper articles, etc. - these memorials are a great source for genealogical research - thank you for all that you do, particularly for the Walthall family - when are YOU going to revise M.E. Walthall's "The Walthall Family" - what an undertaking that would be! - btw I had the DNA test and was confirmed as a Walthall - the test also suggests that before being in Nantwiche, Cheshire Co in the 14th century, the Walthalls were "seafaring Irish" - what do you make of that? I never thought of the name as Irish - Easter blessings! Chuck Walthall

RE: Wilson Walthall memorial
The offer stands whenever, if ever, you would like, just let me know.

I did not have to good fortune to marry a Walthall girl, but my 3rd Great Grand Uncle did. Edward Kenworthy Carlisle, builder of Kenworthy Hall in Marion Alabama, married Lucy Wilson Walthall, (daughter of Jonathan Walthall and Permelia Jones) in 1841. That would make us "shade tree" cousins, or what the Scottish call "Clan Kin".
