I love history and have enjoyed my trek into the genealogy of our family. I appreciate those who are able to help me with information and pictures, that I am too far away to be able to acquire myself. I started taking pictures of our family members' gravesites and noticed all of the graves marked only with rocks, or headstones so old that they are no longer legible. It gave me a feeling of sadness. I found out about this site from a friend and came to it for help. I decided to become a member. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to help record some family history for those out there who are seeking it. I hope to be able to get pictures of all of the OLD headstones in my immediate area, at least, before time takes it's toll on them, as well.|
If you are related to someone that I have created a memorial for, and you have obituary information that you would like to enter on the memorial, just contact me and I will be happy to transfer maintenance of the memorial to you, as long as they are not a member of my own family. Please include the name of the person, the name of the cemetery, and the memorial number.
Please, feel free to use any of the photos that I have taken on your family trees. After all, that's what it is all about!

I've become FB friends with LaWana, she told me you had some research in your family history. I'd like to visit with you about that.

Same questions for Verble & Arthur Cooper.

I Ancestry.com showed me a photo of a Willis B. Cooper headstone, with a link to this site; you were attributed with creating the entry.
Please tell me, is this a real grave stone? Is it a virtual memorial only? If it is a physical existing stone, how can I find out who commissioned it?
Willis B. Cooper is my father.

I would like to ask permission to use your photo of the above memorial for my family history and on Ancestry.com. I would, of course, credit you with the photo.
Thank you for the work you do, it is appreciated.

Thanks so much, Kim for the transfer. This will round out this family.

This does have some problems. I noted that D'Eon Thomason had also tried to get correct information. I believe she is the one who used the Pistole names for the daughters. Sometimes Wedgeworth changes things; sometimes not. I guess we just need to keep trying. Maybe he will change this when he sees the photo.

I am confused. You have posted the picture of T J Pistole to the above memorial. However, the dates on the picture of the marker are the same dates as those for Thomas Jeff Penson.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Kim? This is the last child of a large family and needed to finish. Many thanks.

Kim, thanks for your efforts. Purches McGavock 11966174 was my mother's brother who died young from appendicitis. We are family researchers and have written a book on these families. We have been to the Sand Hill Cem. in Greer Co. OK and have a picture of his TS but I believe yours is a better picture. We do have a picture of him and will also write a bio if you can transfer to us. Many thanks
