Hi! I have researched the Ables family for years. My husband's mother descends from Bethuel's brother Alexander. Bethuel would be my husband's great great uncle. An article from 1880 - "at a Reunion Bethuel reported "I was born in 1806 within a mile of this spot, amongst wolves, indians and snakes. My mother died when I was six. I was left as the oldest son. One night, as wolves were troublesome, we penned sheep against the cabin. that night wolves came and howled and pushed about the house. the sheep were killed, and it made our hearts quake at the danger. I learned to make oil of Pennyroyal. We boiled it in kettles and it was hard work to gather. It grows by springs filled iwth grasshoppers, and fields with weeds." (Pennyroyal is a mint which, when distilled, its oil was valued as medicine and perfume." I have lots of info on the family. You can email me at email@example.com.

Hi Ida... there is no simple way to link siblings on FindAGrave, but you can certainly link children to their parents. Girards memorial is under your management, so you can click the "link family" link and add his father's memorial number.
