Glad I found them and was able to help!

Hello, I can add them to my list. Do you have any location details? __________ Jeff

Hey, never a waste of time to help someone find their ancestors! I did check the Dickersonville one in Lewiston, but not there. In Lewiston as I recall there are:
Gate of Heaven 716-282-5084
Holy Trinity RC 716-285-7467
Probably other around too - such as in Pekin NY, Wheatfield, NY, etc.
Hello, ditto my previous note re: Addenbrookes. No Knotts show on any burial records or maps for either the Lewiston, NY Presbyterian or Dickersonville cemeteries. _____________________________ Jeff Manning
Hello, I have searched the map and the records for the Lewiston, NY Presbyterian cemetery and do NOT find any Addenbrookes buried there. I also checked with the town hall on the nearby Dickersonville cemetery and none are buried there either. _______________________ Jeff Manning

My husbands gggrandfather is Dearborn H. His daughter, Abby, married Stephen Gray. I have wondered what the H stands for too and have not found an answer. My husband's father never talked of that side and he died 4 years ago. There is no one left to ask. I will keep looking.

I do not know what Dearborn's middle initial stands for and can't ponder a theory from looking at the info I have. It is on his stone though. I own a lot of Lapeer history books and have my own "little library". Between that and doing some footwork, that's where I get the info. I have many more photos of the cemetery that can't be posted here. I can make them available on my facebook group Lapeer County Cemeteries. We did a thorough search for more headstones but were not able to prod into the ground much due to the brush and downfall. I still feel there are a few headstones hiding in the topsoil. After doing this for 20 years (and growing up being in cemeteries), I have learned to listen to my hunches. If you're able to visit Sanborn, I recommend it. Just remember, it's a hard little cemetery to find in the summer, slightly easier when the leaves are clear. I have sent your message on to another person who also is researching Sanborn lines.
