RE: Allen Welton family in Cedar Grove Cemetery
I'm the one who wouldn't let Allen into the family for thirty years but Gary Promey has connected enough dots to convince me that the 1810 census was a mess and the mystery son in 1820 is Allen, after all. Email me at beerscentral@roadrunner.com and I'll send you the basic Hannah family document of clues and puzzle pieces for starters. Then Van Pelts and as much as you can stand - LOL! JAK

Allen Welton family in Cedar Grove Cemetery
Just curious Gwen... do you remember who is to the left of the big Allen Welton monument, if anyone? Odd that they are all to the right like that and we're still missing family members somewhere. Thanks! and thanks for finding 4Gr-grandmother Hannah, too!

William Fashbaugh
I am happy to transfer William Fashbaugh to your care.

I think we are related through John Fashbaugh (1828-1905). One of his children was William (your line) another was Elizabeth (1856-193, my line).

Elizabeth married Shadrack White and had Flora (1884-1965). She is my great-grandmother. Flora married William Henry Ries (1881-1952). His father was Andrew (1843-1921). His mother was Dorothy Klein. Andrew's father was Henry(Harry) Ries who came from Germany.

I don't have any pictures of Andrew or Dorothy but would love to see one if you have any.

Carolyn
