Outstanding tombstone pictures, but we need a picture of the cemetery sign to add to the cemetery page !!!
Did you take such a picture?
Also, notice the cemetery page. A person who tried to find the cemetery before you, couldn't find it.
I maintain that cemetery on Find A Grave. Can you please send me updated directions directly,
so I can clearify the situation on the cemetery page.
E-Mail address: email@example.com
PS When did you take the pictures ???

Hi Mr, Kiser,
I appreciate all of the work you have put into the photos and other info you post here. Thanks! I have one simple question. Can you tell me what town Stone Cemetery #15 is near? I have an ancestor buried there and cannot find an exact location for the cemetery other than "near Little Fork Road," in Pendleton County. Thank you!
Thank you so very much! We were surprised that there was a tombstone. We figured that he would have an unmarked grave. Is there a tombstone in the cemetery for James' wife Phoebe or is her tombstone unmarked? Thanks again -- much appreciated!

I have Henry Lamar married to Eliza Ann Kennedy in 1836, record on FamilySearch. 2nd marriage to Matilda Martin about 1842, no marriage record. I have not located a death record for Eliza but it is an assumption that she died about 1841 having triplets. I will keep checking for more sources.

Thanks for posting all the wonderful photos of this family.
Do you have much information on the Byrd family that Elsie Byrd descends from? I've gone back as far as what is linked on Findagrave.
I'm searching for the parents of a Jesse S. Byrd, b abt 1828 in Guilford Co., NC. I think he might be a brother to the following:
William Cern Byrd, b. 29 January 1821 in Guilford Co., NC. His parents were John H. (1777-1855) & Nancy (Foster) (1786-1852) Byrd, both b. in NC. The father of John H. Byrd was John Robert Byrd. Some documents have the last name as Bird.
Any additional information that you might have on them would be greatly appreciated.
Do you have a good cite for Sarah Lovelady's death?
We know it was after the 1860 census of DeWitt county, TX.

Thank you very much for Mary's parental information. It's been added to her memorial.

Thanks for the new info. Sorry, I can't help with the parent's burial place. I looked thru a book I have on Pendleton Co. and found reference to a Siple Cemetery. It showed a George & Mahala Siple buried there, but no indication as to where it is located.

I added the dates you gave from the family members, which were different dates than were on the death certificate, in the bio section of the memorial. However, the obituary shown says she died on a Thursday and was buried on Friday. August 29 was indeed on Thursday, so I believe the date of death on the death certificate must be correct. As to the date of birth, all the information I had was from the death certificate. The information was someone named Cary/Cory Shobe. No idea of their relationship. Sometimes we just have to go with the official information unless it can be proven otherwise. If family members have some other information source, especially a family bible, please let me know.
