Thank you for your offer to transfer management of this account but I will not accept the offer because this family is not related to me. I am helping a friend of the family to do her genealogy. Until someone in her family wants to take over, I will continue to help her. Thanks for your offer.

Mary Marg. Noonan
Hi there. You sent me a SAC and I'm not sure what you're asking. All it said was -

"Mary Margaret Noonan: Predeceased by her beloved parents, William C. and Bridget...The Bethpage Tribune 16 August 2013, Page 13."

If you have the links for her parents, please send me the URL's or at least their memorial numbers.

Central Islip Cemetery

No, thanks, I am not related to these people, I was just filling in some blanks. I was chiefly interested, along with others, in uncovering what happennd to Edna Gertrude Beasley, a well known writer, who disappeared on her return from England. We pretty well discovered what happened but had some bureacratic hurdles to jump.

There is a large empty area near Pilgrim Hospital nearby used as a cemetery. Pilgrim took Central Islip's place. What I am finding is large numbers of elderly people on the SSDI dying in that and Central Islip's zipcode. Their cards were issued about the same time late in life. I think this was done so the state could collect their SSI benefits and bury them when they died. SSI is for people who did not earn enough credit under regular SS rules. It was not created until 1972.

Thank you for the additional information...did you happen to notice that the death date on the marker is not the same that is noted in the obituary? I would venture to say that the marker is correct, but...? I would value your opinion...dave
