RE: old pleasantville cemetery
Hi Claudia: Sorry to be so slow in answering you. Here is the location of Old Pleasantville Cemetery:
Sec. 17 T5N R3E. Travel west of Brownstown on US 50 to the junction of SR 235. Turn south toward Medora & continue south on SR 235 until reaching Byarlay Knob Road. Go northwest on Byarlay Knob Road until passing County Road 87SW. Continue on Byarlay Knob Road until reaching the cemetery. The cemetery is not next to the road. You have to get to it through Mr. England's (sorry, I don't know his first name)farm home. He took us back to is on his tractor. It was knee deep in poison ivy & the stones were difficult to locate in the undergrowth. I hope someone has cleaned it up since we were there. Probably the best time to go there would be early spring before it gets overgrown. I have a map & if you e-mail me I will scan it and send it to you.

Weddles
Hi,
I will see what I can find out for you after the Christmas excitement. Do you have any names and dates for me to work with?

Old Pleasantville Cemetery
Yes, I believe there are more deaths registered for that cemetery but I'm not sure. I think the survey was done back in the 1950's or so. I will try to find out for you. Are there names that you are interested in? My friend and I photographed all the stones that we could find without raking or digging. This was in April when there was a possiblilty of snakes so we were on the cautious side. If you will send your email address, I will try to copy the map and give directions.

RE: Cemetery Photo John Weddle
I don't remember the photo but I photographed some Weddles in the Old Pleasantville Cem., Owen Township, Jackson County, IN. It is sort of hidden from the road and it is near Medora, IN.
