My maiden name is Autumn Culp. I am the daughter of Glenndon Culp. In his short 43 years here he touched the lives of many. He was my hero, my safe place. I find peace in knowing he is with me. He just takes on a different form. Like the wind that blows so does his voice to my ears, like the sun that warms my face he is in my heart, he hasn't completely passed. I see him in my reflection. I act like him in the ways I put others first and before me. You see even though I grieve, longing for my fathers flesh to hug, his voice to say im proud of you kid. I know he lives........ he lives through me. |
I have a husband of almost 13 years, 3 beautiful children that my father kissed before god sent them to me, one unborn in heaven with its papa culp waiting for us all, I have many worldly blessing but nothing compares to the emptiness I have in my life where my father is supposeito be here. I've asked why, I've been mad, I've denied his death even though I was at his funeral, I have mourned, & grieved. And guess what?????........ I still am.
I love my family. I have ben very blessed with the abundance of love. ♥♥♥
Will share more later......

Why is this photo added to the photos of YERIAN CEMETERY? That is not the proper place to honor a loved one. Build a memorial page for her.
|Jim Green||GLENDON CULP|
Autumn... Your Dad and I were best friends from kindergarten through 3rd grade, then my parents moved to Clio Michigan.
Never met anybody like Glendon... he was one of the nicest people i ever knew.
My Dad Willie Green, and your grandfather Ed Culp were real good buddies too, and played music a lot together... Ed played the fiddle and guitar, and played very well. My dad played fiddle and harmonica. They played the bars in Gennessee and Shiawasse counties, and did very well...
I saw Glendon years later, and it was as if we never parted company! We just grinned real big and shook hands and hugged... talked and laughed about grade school antics....
Your Dad was a great guy... for real... i miss him...
