|I am currently researching for a family history/memoir about the Serbian immigrant Gregovich family of Bisbee, Arizona in the early 1900's: Cedomir and Maria Gregovich and their children, including my grandfather Nick Gregovich and my great aunt Eva Wilson, who I believe is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles. Eva often went by "Eve", and may have changed "Gregovich" to "Gregson" before taking her married name. As far as I know, with the exception of my grandfather, all of the siblings in this family changed "Gregovich" to "Gregson" to be "more American."|
There were at least nine siblings in this family, an I will expand the list of the Gregovich/Gregson relatives I'm looking for as soon as I can do so with some accuracy (old records for a family this large can be tricky to make sense of!). For the time being I would love to hear from anyone with information about this family, or who thinks we may be related. I would love to track down more graves for this family as well.
Finally, I am interested in any stories about my rather infamous grandfather Nick Gregovich, who founded the village of Nicksville in Cochise County, Arizona. I would also like to hear from anyone with stories about my grandmother, Ruth Hetherington Gregovich.
