Lazy memorial managers who don't bother to research the people in the memorials entered from some cemetery list with just a year of birth or death and who refuse to transfer to someone - even a cousin who is motivated to find more information. They hide behind the 4 generation rule to hang onto memorials they are not related to and have no intention of researching.
Worse, these types deliberately "take credit" for all the research others send them via edit update without giving credit to the person who gave them that information. No one can contact the person with the real family knowledge since their FAG number is not on the memorial and sometimes these lazy types even put a I DON"T KNOW ANY MORE INFORMATION on the memorial itself so no one will bother them with questions. 100% of them don't bother to even send a thank you to the people giving them their hard research.

I need to go back to the cemetery and bring my shovel... I will try to take a better picture, but thought I would upload the one that I was able to take. Sorry for the poor quality. I will fix.
I fulfilled your request for Maxine and I also added an updated photo to John's memorial.

I will try to get the pic requests for Muskegon Co cemeteries as soon as we get rid of our 2 foot snowpack. K Sanders

I'm sure that I have taken a picture of Frank's stone. It in a section that I haven't finished indexing. I have taken a picture of every stone in Croswell Village Cemetery and am in the processing to titling each so I can go directly to the stones when requested. I will post when I have it done. Hopefully in the next couple of months. I've been a over a year indexing when I get the time.
Thanks for your understanding.

I have made the changes you requested. If you are related and would like transfers, just let me know.
|Laura Plummer Ranville||re: George Hubbard memorials|
You recently sent me an edit suggesting that the two George Hubbard memorials are duplicates:
"There are 2 George Hunters with same DOB/DOD
DUPLICATE Find A Grave Memorial# 5486064 & 44313467"
Actually the DOB/DOD are not the same, though they are similar, and the memorials are in 2 different cemeteries in the same area.
Are you related to this family/families? If so, I'm happy to transfer.

Sorry but I have no information that would indicate he had a 2nd wife.

I took another look today for the Fe'n'dersons and found Mary's tombstone in place. ( I don't know how that happened...maybe I missed it?)
Anyway...Mary Fenderson's tombstone is now shown on Mary Fenderson's & Mary Federson's memorial pages in Owen Cemetery. There is still NO headstone for James Fenderson.
|Janet Knepper||James and Mary Fenderson/Federson in Owen cemetery|
I have been taking photos of Owen Cemetery in Saginaw, MI since September since it is close to my home. I am ONLY taking photos, I have done NO research on any of the memorials. For the most part, I am simply adding photos to existing memorial pages. If there is NO memorial page, then I enter what information I have from the headstone and the cemetery records only.
Cemetery records show James and Mary Federson buried in section Old N - Lot 11 - James in plot 6, Mary in plot 5, but there are NO headstones for either of them. There is a HUGE mix up with the spelling of the name Burl-i-son vs. Burl-E-son also. There are duplicate records under both spellings. I believe you may find the William Burlison you are looking for under William Burl-E-son. Best wishes!
