Bio and Links
Bio Photo My first research was at 13 years old. A long time ago. I fell in LOVE with researching my family. I always need to know more, but in wanting to know more I need to know who each of them was, what they looked like, what was there life like, and always honoring a memory of someone I share DNA with but never met.

I truly love and enjoy Find A Grave, it completes everyone's research with concrete proof. No pun intended.

My goal is to link all of my family members to each other as to have one large connected family as far as it goes........hence my Family Tree Name "Our Small Place In The World"

Looking for Powells
Capt. Lazarus Powell is my 3rd gr-grandfather. I know where he and Col. Elias are in Smith Mills (and my gr-grandmother Bessie Powell - Mrs. A.G. Crutchfield). But I am trying to locate Willoughby and before going back to NC (where I live) and VA. Any help would be appreciated.

I've added your marker photo to document place of burial in his record in the Coffelt Database of Vietnam casualties at http://www.CoffeltDatabase.org.
Thank you for helping us to remember him properly ...

Olive Kring Photo Request
Tammi,

Olive is an unmarked grave or the headstone is buried. I was looking for a wide shot. She is buried next to Charles (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=25789113) and Minnie Kring (single upright headstone http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=25789996) who were both marked last time I was there. There should be a spot next to their graves which is her grave. From memory and the headstone photos for Charles and Minnie, there is a small cement separator wall (only a couple of inches tall) around the graves.

Queen Ann Busbee
I recently reviewed and approved the changes you suggested to the memorial for Mrs. T J. Busbee. There is another Busbee (D.T. Busbee) buried near her. Do you know if he is perhaps her son? If so I can link them together. Thanks.

RE: Your help is very much appreciated!!
You are very welcome, and I was happy to see that the tree was removed. The cemetery is wooded, which makes it beautiful while creating problems with lichens, moss, and other types of growths. It is, however, an active cemetery that is regularly maintained. Blessings to you, D. L.
