Bio and Links
Bio Photo I initially started my family tree to document as much as I could about my known family, in order to be able to have something tangible to pass on to my children. My hope was to go back 3-4 generations.

Since then, I have extended my family tree include almost three thousand relatives and have been able to trace my ancestors back to the Mayflower and beyond.

My favorite part of my research has been touring cemeteries. I have been able to find a wealth of information that may not have been readily available through other means. As a result, I have also come to realize how difficult it can be to make a trip to some locations. This is particularly true with areas in other states or those in particularly rural locations.

It is my hope to assist those in other areas to connect with their past. I live in upstate New York, just North of Albany, however I have done quite a bit of research in southern NY as well.

If you have a request, please feel free to reach out and I will see what I can do to accommodate you.

Hi Heidi,

Just a suggestion if you get the time; it would be nice if your photo of Lois Ann Sloan's columbarium stone at Saratoga National Cemetery could be updated. Her husband, Philip John Walsh deceased on July 24, 2014. Her F-A-G # is 113019158. Also, if the same photo was added to her husband's memorial, F-A-G- # 133711518.
Sincerely,
Luddy

RE: Seaman Family
Thank you so much for the photo. John was a GGG uncle and thanks to your photo I was able to match his stone to the records I had found. so I know I found the right person. I had found a death in 1885 in Massachusetts and a death notice, but wasn't convinced until the age and year matched. I really wish there was a stone for his wife, Nancy, who died in 1878 in Schuylerville, but no such luck. His uncle, Stephen, is also buried there and probably he is related to most of the Seaman's in the cemetery, just trying to figure out who they might be. Really appreciate this.
