Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I have undertaken this project together. He is the historian/photographer. I am the computer geek and genealogy researcher.

Our first priority is to find and document our own family. I'm met many folks into genealogy for whom Find a Grave is one of their favorite search sites. So I place some priority on getting the facts correct.

Then, when we're in the cemetery on a beautiful autumn day, it counts as exercise (yes) and it lets us also pursue the photography hobby.

I have just transferred her memorial to you. I will try and get a photo of her marker/headstone for you over the next week or so. Jim

Hello: Typically when some questions the information I ignore it and let the memorial stand as created. However, I am related to the Bullerwell line and I did not appreciate the tone of your question. Certainly if your wife is related I would think you would have more complete information.

The source for his name, birth and place is
Nova Scotia, Canada, Births, 1836-1910; NSHSVR Late Birth Registration 1904 - Page: 92606364, as it was a record not completed at birth but instead an affidavit of late birth registration. And frankly I don't really care if you make the change. I am however, saddened by the suggestion that I would not provide accurate information.

RE: Stone Family searches
So what's the connection that you found? I had a grand aunt who married Arnie Stone in Fitchburg a century ago, but I have not created a memorial for him yet.

In response to your email:

1) I rechecked and cannot find the "Freland" error in the memorial's obituary transcription. If you can point out what I'm missing I will happily change it.

2) I just looked up the scan of the actual obituary in the Charlotte Observer. Maggie Hall is clearly listed as his half-sister so it will remain as written.

3) In regard to the photo order, whenever there is a photo of the deceased I prefer the person get the top spot on the memorial page versus a piece of stone.

I am not related to this family but live close to Elmwood and have been there numerous times to take grave photos and transcribe memorials.

Her death record shows her birth location as North Carolina but I changed it to Arkansas since you are so closely related.

You are very welcome. We are glad to have helped you, we enjoy going to different cemeteries that have old headstones in them. We have begun to photograph the cemeteries in our area, so if we can be of help to you again, just let us know.

I submitted an Edit to the place of death as there is more than 1 Shaker cemetery in Worcester County.

Greetings Sue,

I would be happy to do any linking etc., however, I am more than happy to transfer any that you wish.
I consider myself merely the photographer and have no family connections to 99 percent of my memorials.
I put them up in hopes of connecting them with ANY family connection.
