Bio Photo Hello,
I am an unemployed person at this time. I started my family genealogy quest when I wanted to know more about my father's family which I know very little about. I don't remember him speaking of his family at all. Now over 3 years later I have become addicted to it..Now I've found "Find a Grave" site and hoping maybe I can get some help locating missing relatives? I just am at a loss how to find ones that died over 64 yrs ago, over 200 miles from my home and didn't have a social security number? How do you find them?? Also most of my family about for 3 generations were born in Chicago, a very hard place to search..My quest continues......

RE: More Laemmel's

Thank you so much. Did you take photos of the Laemmel ones? If so, could you please send them to me in case they are family. You can email them to me katiestilp [at] or put them on here if you have time to add the memorials. Thank you again so much! Appreciate it!

RE: Carl Hendrickson
I tried to re request the photo but it won't let me. It says there is already a request out for that memorial and only one request is allowed. I was also interested if his wife Helen was buried there too? I didn't enter her name yet because I didn't know.

Oh I expired. Ok, I will "Request" one more time. Yeah...if you have anymore Leach stones you found not already listed go ahead and throw them up there, that would be great!!!

Your hard work is appreciated!

THANKS for running out there and thanks for contacting the cemetery office. I must admit that I'm not sure what you mean by "reinstate my claim". Please do let me know!!

RE: How did you add names to photos
Hi Pat,

For those pictures where I added in the names I used Gimp. It is a free photo editing program you can download. Most photo programs have a TEXT feature which will allow it. I have been working with the individual on the Weinkes for a few weeks now and in that photo there is actually one stone missing so I used it to show the family grouping.

I probably walk past your house a few times a week. I had surgery a few weeks ago and walking is one form on exercise that feels good and I love the fresh air. I will be going out today to get the rest of SusieQ78's requests. I have been adding some she hadn't requested yet not knowing Find a Grave limits the requests per week. For some of her records I had the photos and was waiting for her to add records. I love when I get a chance to work with someone that way. It is so satisfying to help others put families together.
