Lewis Grey Bowker
I wondered if you had noticed that there is a Lewis C. Bower buried at the Nashville National Cemetery? He passed in late December 1862. The reason I bring this up is the spelling in awful close and I do know that in 1864 soldiers that passed at Bowling Green Kentucky began being moved to Nashville when the National Cemetery became available. I know this because my 2nd Great Grandfather died at Nashville at Hospital number 8 in late 1862. These soldiers were temporarily buried in local cemeteries and then moved. The problem is when they moved them a lot of the records conflicted and personal possessions were sent home when possible. This left many of them unable to be identified after they were moved. Nashville still does not have a formal record of my 2nd Great Grandfather, Cyrell B. Bacon, but I know he was moved there. I hope this helps.

Ensign Memorials
I have deleted my memorials 98468477 and 98468476 for Arthur and Myrtle Ensign in favor of the more detailed memorials which are/were actually duplicates (added 2 years later) of mine. It is much less effort to do it this way. It is really the information that is important. Thanks for the notes.

Kind regards,
