Emily Trumbull
Hi Greg,

I have been to this cemetery several times, and have never been able to locate Emily. She is also not listed in the St. Joseph Co. IN Cemetery Inscription Vol 5 book. The only TRUMBULL's listed are:

Henry 1864-1935 No headstone
Thomas 1895-1914 No headstone
William H. 3 Feb 1840 - 11 June 1913
CO F 1st Mich Cav

Emily is not listed anywhere. Hopefully one day she can be located.

Carlton Sammons
Hi, I talked with Dave at Oakwood and he looked Carlton up for me. He sent me the information that was in the original records. His grave is located in Block C, Lot GAR, Grave 3. He was interred on 9/30/1894. The headstone reads: PVT, Co K, 44NYinf.
Dave said that the spelling was different but that is the only Carlton he has. The dates match up so that is what I took the photo of. Unfortunately, there are no relatives nearby as he is in a special section. I took photos of the entire memorial which is really nice. If you would like me to send them to you, I would be glad to. Just let me know. I was told that some of these soldiers were moved from their original spot to the memorial so they could be honored. If you would like to call Dave and see if other family members are there and find out the location, I would be glad to go back and photograph them for you.

Thank you so much for trying! It probably is one of those unreadable. It shows up in one of the cemetery readings from years ago. I really appreciate you checking for me!
