|My name is April and I am an amateur genealogist. I am also a disabled veteran and spend my spare time cleaning the graves of veterans buried in the area and visiting them quite often. I am interested in helping people connect with their family history or with past loved ones. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. No one needs to be forgotten.|

Thank you so much for trying to take a photo of Thomas' grave. I will let the contributor know that his grave is unmarked.

As it turns out, I DID find him after all! I took a bunch of photos out there and thought he was a different Jordan. I have posted the pictures on his memorial. Sorry I got so mixed up!

Glad to hear they were cooperative. Not all are that way.

Yes April, Franklin and Eleanor are Leroy's parents. There is also a daughter, Maryann who died in 2006. She was married to a DAVES and a STOVER. I don't know where she is buried, but may be with her parents.

Thank you for trying to locate the headstone for Clarence Carson Dotson. Your extra work in checking with the Cemetery Office is very much appreciated.
I appreciate your volunteer work with Find A Grave. Your photos will make family members smile one day, when they come across that "special someones" memorial.

Welcome April, Glad to have you in our family of volunteers. Did however notice that you have added a duplicate memorial for Ebenezer Souier # 116605355. Perhaps you should delete this and defer to the original # 68211278 created April 2011. I'm sure if you are family, a transfer of management could be asked for; or if you have additional info to suggest, it will be added to the original. We all try to make research easy for those "looking" for family. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to Find A Grave. Just a note to say thank you for going the extra mile on my behalf. Would love to know the lady's name who has the records for the cemetery, as I am sure I will have more relations buried there in future searches.
