RE: george w. noble
Hello Bobbie,
I found a small death notice for George Noble in the Arkansas City paper.

Weekly Republican-Traveler
Arkansas City, Kansas
Thursday, September 11, 1890
Page 5

Died - George W. Noble, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Noble, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock of congestive chill. He had only been in our city about one year, coming here from Peoria, Illinois and was in the employ of the Arkansas City Milling company. The deceased was well liked by all who knew him and the milling company, to show their appreciation of his services and his many excellent qualities shut down their mill and attended his funeral services yesterday afternoon, in a body. The family extend their thanks to their many friends who assisted them during their sad bereavement.

RE: George Noble
Hello Bobbie,
Sorry to say that I have no relationship to the Noble family buried at Riverview and do not recall ever having anyone ask about them. I can not provide any additional info regarding George Noble but I can try and locate an obit for him at the Ark City library the next time I'm in that area.

Good Luck in your search.
Judy

RE: edmund tichenor
The parents of Edmund Tichenor are not verified. They may be John Tichenor and Phoebe Shipman of Essex Co, New Jersey. That link is made because it appears that Edmund is the brother of Elias O. Tichenor. Edmund and Elias were near neighbors and had the same occupation in NYC/Brooklyn in the early 1800's. When Elias O. got married for the 2nd time his parents names were on the marriage license. So, if the marriage record is correct, we may have the parents of Edmund Tichenor. How are you connected?

RE: edmund tichenor
We are not certain who are the parents of Edmund Tichenor Sr. However, there is some evidence that Elias O. Tichenor of Long Island may be Edmund's brother. They were near each other in City Directory and census records, and had the same job for the NYC for a time. When Elias O. Tichenor married for the 2nd time he named as his parents John Tichenor and Phoebe Shipman. There is just a little information about them on the internet.
I have a Tichenor tree on Ancestry.com with more information. My huband's line is Edmund Sr., Edmund Jackson Tichenor, Frank Myers Tichenor, Clifford Leigh Tichenor and Robert Wheeler Tichenor. If your son-in-law is connected to this line, would sure love to hear from you.
