Bio Photo I have been interested in family history since I was about 10 years old. My dad passed away 7/14/13 and it caused me to take the plunge and creat a profile, which led to a memorial.

This is a great way to study family history and looks like this will be a new hobby. I welcome any suggestions from veteran contributors. I hope to honor other's loved ones by creating many more memorials and/or taking photo requests.

RE: Ella Davis Speight Hall Spann

I noted on William Johnny Halls death certificate that the place of burial simply says Dickson County. I did find a photo of the headstone on Ancestry that appeared to have the Greenwood Church behind it so that tells me in all likelihood he is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Dickson County. I will be going out again to try and take more photo's in the next few months and will try to get one that is legible so I can see if that is in fact him at Greenwood Cemetery. Sorry that's the best I can do for now. Have a happy holiday season!

I have attached several photo's to your page and wanted to be sure you had the chance to update it. Ella is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, Charlotte, Dickson, Tennessee, USA. My mother is married to her grandson who took me to her grave when we began doing family history. I included my mother's transcribed notes taken from her family Bible and a photo of her with my husbands Grandfather. I have also located and photographed the Nicks Family Cemetery in Stayton or Slayton Tennessee I forget the spelling there. We did call that in to the State to verify it was on the list of Cemeteries. It is located on private land so out of respect I haven't made the information widely available.

We may be cousins!
I am a 3rd Great grandson to Absalom Doak Nicks Jr. (1826-1904). Can you connect to him?

"Graciously submitted by our family on "godblessamerica07 originally submitted this to Sullivan/Seals/Nicks Family Tree on 26 Feb 2011." Thank you so much for sharing so we may now our extended family better. Any personal family stories would be appreciated as well!"

When you press on the picture twice there is often an inscription written. This is where I sourced it from. I often work between the two sites. Can't help you any further. Try the county archives, that where I get great help from. Nicks is a huge family and I did get lost quite often. Enjoy the process. Happy New year's cousin, Wendy

Mable Hessey
I just got an e-mail from the one that claimed it. Actually she had already made a memorial with the correct name and had a photo. I think she will likely delete hers and add the photo to the other one. Thank you again

Clara Sullivan
There is a possibility that she has no marker under the name Clara Hessey.

Thank you for checking for the photo. Actually and I should have made this note on the request, she is listed as Mable Sullivan Hessey on the cemetery survey. I will request again and add this name. The person adding the memorials has added several and has been less than co-operative in doing SAC's and I have sent several He says she is his great-grandmother. I apologize for omitting this.

She was:

Clara M Hessey
Born Sept 6 1902 in Davidson CO TN Died Jun 21 1959 in Davidson CO Tn (TN Death Index)
