I know you tried to photograph Fannie Elizabeth McCullough recently. I would have thought she would be located with her husband, Richard McCullough located in Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor, Texas. I thank you for your time and effort.

Hi! Here is what I have. Joe Swain's parents were William Swain & Mary Hines. That William Swain's parents were William Swain & Mary Hassel.
I haven't verified the two William Swain's info but it comes from my Aunt who has been doing this for years. Hope it helps. Please let me know if you find out anything else. Also, what child of Joe's is your line? Mine is Mary Alice, who then married a Jacobs.

|SKP||Cordelia & Jessee Bowers|
I was excited to hear from you because Jessee Ash Bowers was the brother of my 2nd gr-grandmother, Mary Jane Bowers. I am hoping you or your husband might be able to confirm that their parents were William S. and Lucretia Bowers and suggest where I might find proof of that. Also, I'm hoping either of you might be able to confirm that they had a sister by the name of Emmaline, where I might be able to find evidence to support that, where and when William, Lucretia, Emmaline and any other siblings were born and died, and and/or any other vital statistics or facts. (I'm not hoping for much, am I?)I have a few brick walls in some of my family lines, but I'm particularly interested in Mary and Jessee's Bowers line. Mary was mentally disabled. She never married but in her 20s became pregnant, supposedly as the result of rape, and gave birth to my 2nd great grandmother, Minnie Ann Bowers, who married (hope my memory is working correctly today) James Henry Bradshaw in Bastrop County, Texas. Jessee is said to have taken care of Mary and baby Minnie for awhile, but Minnie and Jim are supposed to have taken over her care when they married. Mary died when she was in her 40s, if memory serves, and is buried at the old Red Rock cemetery. Her memorial number is 6967223. The family story is that Jim borrowed money to bury Mary, but he would never do it again and he never did. Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed that you have some information that might help me continue with this line. I hope to hear from you soon.

I have lived in Coleman most of my life. I was in the same class with your sister-in-law, Jean, at Coleman High School. I see Shorty Bowers very often, as I live across the street from the hospital in Coleman.
I have added obituaries to several of the Bowers memorials at the Coleman Cemetery. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Sounds great! It would be nice to have a little help! I did find this:
Name: Annie Mae Judkins
Event Type: Birth
Event Date: 05 Nov 1930
Event Place: Crystal City, Zavala, Texas, United States
Father's Name: Robert Roy Judkins
Mother's Name: Gladys Ritchie
But you may have already known this. Maybe you can confirm this is our Annie Mae.
If you like, we can exchange info through my email address: firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you for replying. If you notice in Adina cemetery, there is a F.W. Simmons as well. He is buried right next to Fount. I'm trying to see if F.W. is Fount's father. One other researcher has F.W. as Fountain William Simmons. Both of these are buried next to my Ggrandfather James M. Simmons. I can't help but believe they are related. One other bit of information, Fount Simmons was the informant on the death certificate for John H. Simmons (my grand uncle and son of Ggrandfather James) who died in Gonzales in 1937.
The info on Annie Mae is interesting. I have the seen the names Billie Lee Swain and Robert G Reese associated with her.
This line has been very challenging for me to run down. But I'll keep on it! :)

I am a Simmons descendant. I know that Fount and my Ggrandfather (James M. Simmons) were related but I can't piece together exactly how. Fount is buried next to my James in the Adina Cemetery. Was your Fount related to F.W. Fount (1851-1901)? F.W. is buried next to the other two.
I'd appreciate any info you have on them as it will help in my research.
Thank you much,
