|B.J. Waters||Sarah Day photo request.|
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that the name on the headstone is Janie S. Day. I can't find any other info about her. Do you know if her name is Janie Sarah Day, or maybe Sarah Jane Day?
Anyway, the others buried in this lot are: Floyd B. Day, Amanda Weldon, Nancy Susan Day, and Daniel Franklin Day. I created memorials for them.
Please let me know if you know anything else about Sarah.
I meant to give you a link to the page in the interment records: https://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000240.pdf

I have been investigating this request and it seems to be a dead end, so I thought I'd tell you what we know: The memorial was created from an entry in the Mt Hope Interment Records that reads "Mary Moore's child" who died at the age of 13 months. Unfortunately, the burial location of "P" at that time does not give us enough to go on. It may mean Section P, but before this section was being used in a systematic way, or it may mean Public. In either case, with such a common last name and not knowing the name of the child, there's not much more we can do.

You're very welcome. I did add the other Davison family members that I found to each of their own Find A Grave memorials in case you're interested in them as well. Have a great weekend.

I was able to find May Davison's grave and uploaded the picture. She appears to be buried next to 5 other Davison family members. I can send you pictures of their graves as well if you'd like. They are R.R. "Midge" Davison, J.E. Davison, Glenn E. Davison, Father L.L. Davison and Madeline G. Davison.

I appears that there is no marker on his grave; I am in the Process of locating the aprox. location using existing markers. The location for the grave is Block: 5; Lot: 13. This is a area with markers that are very limited. As soon as I do I will post it.. Just thought I would mention the long wait.

Hi, you posted a picture of James Boyle Day's death certificate to his mothers grave. It is to small to read and was wondering if you could tell me burial information and death cause.

I've done a pretty thorough search of Christ Church cemetery in Saluda(Middlesex County) Va and cannot find this man. I thinks a lot of the very old gravestones do not exist any longer. If I get the opportunity when the cemetery office is open (not a lot) I will seek more info. Sorry. Vicki Kinsel
