All of my photos may be used on this or other sites as long as credit is given. I enjoy walking around cemeteries, the older the better. I started with my own genealogy about 6 years ago and now I continue the hobby with trips to various cemeteries to keep the search going. For me, it's like a treasure hunt. It's a great feeling to find a stone you've searched forever for. My only issue is my health isn't great. I can't always get out there to get the photos, but I will get them on the days that I'm well enough. I've just recently started collecting plot maps in my's a work in progress. My family history includes the names Skolfield, MacVane, Harmon, Rutter, King, Jane Fox, Jordan. So far, the earliest ancestor I have been able to discover is William deSouthworth father of Gilbert deSouthworth who died in 1330. John deSouthworth (son of Gilbert) died 15 Oct 1415 at the siege of Harfleur in Normandy, France.
