Sparkman HIllcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed to in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request.

You can also go through the SH website at this address:

Click the third tab that says "Other Requests." Fill in the blanks. Where it says: " What is your request in regard to?" use the drop down menu and select "other." In the message put the name and birth and death dates of the person you are looking for and that they are buried at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas. Once SH has replied, add the information to your photo request.

Thank you for your help.

I don't know how the new "automatic edit" is supposed to word, or if it does everytime, but in case it fails, Section 2, Row 26, Area C.

Morning Janis,
I saw your request and have submitted the plot location to be added. That way maybe someone a little closer than me will go take care of it since basically the leg work is done, ha !! With gas at $3.50 its not cost effective to make that drive for only 2 requests, one of which is to new to be on the registry, -however-, If it's not fulfilled in a timely manner or more requests pop up, then I'll take care of it.
Just wanted U to know that your request has been noticed.... Later, James Coston

Family Tree
Hello, Nelson and Elizabeth Barnet were the parents to Lennie Bell who is my grandmother. I had tried for years to find information on the Barnet side of the family. Is there anyway I can get copies of the photos you have posted? I will gladly pay for them and the postage.

Thank you for your hard work.

Sorry I have a lot of email accounts.

Virginia Paschal
Hi Janis,
I was wondering if the next time you are at Oakwood Cemetery, if you would take a picture of the plot where Virginia is buried and post it on Find A Grave? My cousin thinks she is buried near her husband and son so a picture of the plot showing that would be great! No rush, though. Thanks again for taking the photos of the markers that you were able to locate!!!

Cundiff & Oakwood Cemeteries
I am so glad that you joined Find A Grave!!! I really appreciate that you took the time to go to Cundiff and Oakwood Cemeteries and photographed these markers. I thank you, too, for letting me know about the unmarked grave of Virginia Paschal. A cousin's mother has been trying to find it so it's good to know that it's unmarked. Thanks for checking with the cemetery office about it. I really appreciate everything you've done!!!
