|I am an elementary teacher in central Georgia. I have always loved history, and the way that people lived and died.|
Most of my family has been in Georgia for many generations, but my grandmother came from Indiana. I have enjoyed researching her family. but I have not been able to find out much information on her side of the family.
Family surnames that I have been researching are: Callaway, Quimby, Southard, King, Higgins, Walls, Echols, Simpson, and Youngblood.

I could not find a Thomas Jones headstone. The only Jones headstone that I found at Prospect today anything close to the dates listed for the Thomas Jones requested was an Alva D. Jones, b. Nov. 22, 1897, d. May 17, 1923. If this helps I can upload or e-mail you the photo.

I left a message for you on the "Report a Problem" page regarding the two Clack headstones that I photoed today.
Hi, Brittany, and sorry I didn't see your edit/suggestion sooner. Maybe you made it during the time FindaGrave was offline. Anyway, I have heard before that Eli J. McDaniel was the son of William McDaniel and Sarah Couch, but I've never seen any sort of document that would confirm this. Do you know of any? If you do, I really would like to hear about it. There just aren't enough early records in Georgia!

Brittany - I searched for Sarah Glenn's gravestone at Sardis Cemetery - near Blakely, GA yesterday. I was unable to find it, but that doesn't mean she isn't buried there. There were stones that were so old that they were unreadable and there were also some unmarked graves. The only Glenn that I found there was a 'Georgia Glenn'. I took a photo of her stone in case you want me to email it to you. I didn't want to click on 'report a problem with photo request' because I didn't want to knock your request off the site. I'm hoping maybe someone else may know where she is buried. If you'd like me to email the 'Georgia Glenn' stone photo to you, just let me know. Thanks - Connie Johnson Bell
Scott Steinbeck did the photos already for his wife so since that is the same marker you might just ask him to add it to William's page and save someone a search. Good Luck!
