Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started with about two years ago and quickly got hooked. I like that all the information is shared freely on Find-A-Grave and enjoy adding what I can. Feel free to use any of the photos/information I have uploaded. It would be nice if credit was given.

I am currently working on photographing Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown, IA and Green Mountain Cemetery in Green Mountain, IA.

Green Mountain Cemetery
When you have been doing your headstone shots, have you run across a couple by the name of Simon and Charlotte Burger. Also is Green Mountain Cemetery listed on F A G yet, I couldn't find it under Tama County.

RE: re: Neil J Hulshizer
Thank you for asking about the name being different. The way the story was told to me is that Edward Harrison Hulsizer (my grandfather) dropped the second h, so that is the spelling for him, Clyde, and Katherine. Katherine is my grandmother and also my great aunt, she was married to Neil Hulshizer. Katherine married Edward after Neil passed, with one son from that marriage, Orville,(buried in another cemetery).
Edward and Katherine had Ernest, Clyde, and Kenneth (my father). Ernest and Kenneth are both buried in another cemetery. The story also goes that my great grandfather, Jacob Snider owned the land that Center School Cemetery is at, at one time it also had a church/school there, which I remember, with Jacob donating the land for Center School.
Thank you again

If you post a grave photo on a memorial that is "unknown burial" site, just add the name of the cemetery to the caption under the photo.

Or more work for you....

If you want to put the "unknown burial" site memorial in the cemetery, send an email with a link from the memorial and another from cemetery to edit at State a simple request with the links. It will take a couple of weeks but they will add that memorial to the correct cemetery.

And thanks again for all those photos you posted.

RE: re: Arlene Pearl Porter
No, I am not related. They were neighbors to my family early on in my growing up. No children & Wayne being a Vet, I wanted to honor them & his service. If you want to transfer, my F-A-G id is: #47331994. I assume you noticed that your Ruth Porter is his mom. If you do not want to transfer ‘cause I was a neighbor & not related, just let me know & I will send you the info.

Kenneth Lee Rethmeier Find A Grave Memorial# 120026218

There is a photo of his marker posted by you, yet his memorial is not in that cemetery. Please give the name of the cemetery and I will see that the memorial is transferred.

I clicked on the "4,813 Photos" on your profile page and then clicked on the word "cemetery" on the right. That index lists in alphabetical order the memorials according to location. Memorials that are "unknown burial sites" or "cremations" will be at the top of the index. If there is a marker photo on one of memorials, it should be moved to the cemetery location. No problem. Easy done.

Your work on Find A Grave is most appreciated. I will never be able to do that many photos. One reason is I walk with a cane and the second most of the cemeteries in my area have been photographed!
