Bio and Links
I have been doing genealogy research for 20+ years. I have interest in both my husband's and my families. Husband's father's families started in New York, came to Nebraska, settled in Illinois. His mother's families came from Germany, settled and remained in Illinois. My father's family came from Germany, came to Sheyboygan, WI and settled in Clark Co, WI. My mother's family came from eastern Europe, settled in Clark Co, WI. I have used many sources to track family and feel that there are many more entries to make to be complete and to pass the information on to our children/grandchildren. I am most thankful for the electronic sites that aid my research and hopefully will be available for family generations that follow. Also available have been pictures and newspaper clippings collected by our families that have added to the history.

OK, I see what you are dealing with. I am not certain how to combine duplicate memorials that were added by two different people who transferred them to you. You may have to contact Find A Grave (info@findagrave.com) for help with that.

As far as the one that was transferred to you and you also created a memorial for that person, you can add your additional information for that person to the memorial that was transferred to you and delete the memorial that you created.

The following is a direct quote from the Find A Grave Frequently Asked Question pages:

Sixth, Please note that it is not appropriate to request a transfer and then, after receiving the transfer, delete that page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created. This practice denies credit to the original contributor. Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information.

In the left column of the Find A Grave home page, click on "Community Forums" for additional information and questions.
Hope this helps, Karen

Betty, I don't understand what you mean by duplicate memorials. Who are they for? Are they in the same cemetery? Are they just for one person?

Certainly you may add her picture to her page. Are you related to this family? If so, I would be happy to transfer her page to you.

Hello Betty,

I have made the changes you requested as well as some clean-up with the family connections. Do you have the maiden name of her mother? It would be nice if that were included in her bio.

Regards, Karen

Sam Maxson FAG Memorial# 91933924
Per your request for a photo of the grave stone for Sam Maxson, I'm sorry to report that this is an unmarked grave. All pictures of all stones have been recorded on find-a-grave. This cemetery was walked and all grave locations verified and recorded. He is buried in Lot 110 and in that lot are others from the Craft family and the Watts family. The North Loup Loyalist paper is online and maybe that would help you answer any other questions you have.
Good Luck!!

Hi!
In response to your response: I requested a headstone photo for wife and suggested that volunteer look around the vicinity for Harold. Will let you know what occurs. Thanks again.
