My parents both grew up on farms & were born at home in Fairfield Co. My Dad is the baby of 12 children, my Mom the 3rd oldest of 10 and I had over 50 first cousins. Their parents were also from big families. |
Mom & Dad researched birth, marriage & death records in Fairfield, Hocking & Perry Co. as my entire family has lived there since the early 1800s. But it has just been me doing genealogy since the '90s. My grown kids asked me if I used Ancestry and I told them that I WAS Ancestry before it existed. I have researched LDS Records and contributed a lot of information to them.
The families I am researching are Fox, Francisco, Askins, Stevenson, Boley, Patton, Moore, Conrad, Kern & Myers. Most of my memorials are family, but I am willing to transfer select people, some of their spouses or kids, to other family members.
I want to thank all of those wonderful volunteers who take photos and have transferred memorials to me. They make it possible for me to "connect" the holes in my pedigree from 1,000 miles away.

You are welcome.

The cemetery is actually surrounded by that stone wall and locked to the public. There did appear to be some stones (I think they were not in real good shape), but there was no way to photo them since they were inside of the round area... Grass was cut, so someone gets inside.
Another for ya

Done for both of those. It appears there was another one on Lydia Coulson Peters. I added photos to it and deleted my duplicate as well. I promise that when I checked prior to adding these, there was not another one created in Forest Cemetery, so I figure there must have been a short lag from when I checked and when I added those memorials.
I also have a memorial/photos on Samantha J. Peters. She appears to be the child of Lewis S. and Margaret, at least per the 1860 Census. Do you want that record transferred to you as well?

No, I am not related. When I did the photo today, I picked up his wife and son and provided the link. Is there an issue I should be aware of?
Sorry but Ray is in my family tree. He is related to me and my husband both.
If he is a direct ancestor please let me know the line.

You're very welcome, Dana. There were a few others you had listed that I & a friend tried to look for but we either totally missed them or else they didn't have a marker (Clara and Charles Reed and Dorothy Gardner). There was an area next to Bessie and Gerald Gardner that I'm guessing could be where Dorothy is (due to the lot and section numbers) but there aren't any tombstones. I took an overall shot of that section with the other Gardners if you would like for me to forward it to you. I'm sorry I wasn't more successful.
