I find we have cousins all over the world, so Boots has told me. I never knew any except in Spearsville, Junction City, and Lillie. Lived all my life within 25 miles of there. I was raised in Union Grove Baptist Church, born a half mile south of there, Dr. Colvin made a house call. Visited Bethel Baptist Church some. I had heard stories all my life, of my ancestors, but nothing in writing, and didn't understand the significance of it as I do now in my waning years. I am trying to find my nearest ancestors, up to 4th cousins, thereabouts. Pass on what I know of their lives. Sad that I can't locate my GGGrandfather's grave. |

Forgot to let you know the 2 bachelor brothers were called Babe and Boome. Hettie Farrar Drummond was buried in Lilly, Louisiana.
Pearl married Alvin J. DOIRON. Pearl's findagrave : http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Doiron&GSfn=Pearl&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=80061209&df=all&

Hi - I am trying to help a good friend of my cousin. She is looking for information on her Farrar family. Her grandmother is Hettie FARRAR married to Henry Drummond; Hettie's children were: Lottie Mae Drummond (who died in a fire when she was 5 or 6 in the 1920's), Gladys Drummond, Pearl Drummond (my cousin's friend's mother), Leonard Drummond (who died of food poisoning before the fire that killed Lottie Mae). Henry Drummond left the family and then Hettie and the children moved in with Hettie's two bachelor brothers. Hettie had a stroke and died. The children stayed with the brothers. Then the house burned down.... Lottie Mae died in this fire. After the fire, the brothers were homeless and the children were put in the Louisiana Methodist Children's home. I am hoping you will know something about this family. If you can give me any clues on this particular family, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Nicki

No problem, Ron ... a lot of times the creator of a duplicate isn't aware of the original memorial. Sorry to bother you. Have a nice week.

Have you created a memorial with grave location Unknown? This allows you to continue with family tree links even if for the present you do not know a grave location. You probably know all of this, but a thought for you, Justin Case.

Bruce passed away on 11/26/13. I hope I have transferred the memorial as you asked, but I will not be able to answer questions about ancestors.

FYI: His parents' links were not correct.

Ron, you sent me an email about adding her first husband William M Goldsby/Gouldsby memorial. I have never been able to prove that the memorial for William Goldsby is her husband. Please send me a direct email at Adventurers@att.net. debi burgess

Are you a member of Ancestry? If not, I can look the Henry Farrar family up for you. Let me know. Nan
|Bonnie Sisson Manning||James and Isabella Rea|
I made the links. If these are your people, I'll happily transfer their memorials to you.
I got that Union Parish book that you suggested and enjoyed it! Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait to show it to my 90 yr old mother who grew up there!
Do you know Eugene Barron, the author or have his email? I recall connecting with him years ago, but want to contact him about more photos I have.
Mele Kalikimaka, Nan
