RE: William Hanna
Sorry to be so long in replying. I have not been out to the cemetery in a while. I have photographed most of the old section. Maybe I can get back to this in the spring. It is very possible that the stones are gone. The caretaker told me that after an ice storm some years ago when trees feel and broke markers, they were hauled of. I am amazed that such a thing was done even if they were in pieces. Now there is nothing. So some of the older stones no longer exist.

Its what will be in the newspaper might have to show them a list of relative that they might have on record....but you need to ask when you find someone to help you send in for the headstone.

RE: Robert B Hanna
no we do not have a picture of his grave...i know where he is suppose to be buried....but there is no headstone there for him....Since he was in the military....he can get a military headstone but it has to be ordered by a family member. before you order it you might want to get up with the librarian there in Okolona, Estelle Ivy. if you need the number just private message me and i will give it to you.

RE: william hanna
My grandmother was Minerva Hanna Petrie and her
father and mother were Roe Hanna and Mary Emily
Stigler Hanna. I and almost certain that William E
Hanna and Mary E Hanna were her grandparents. I was told that her grandfather was a doctor.
If any of your relatives spelled their name HANNA
and lived in Ruleville then we would be related.
There was also another family in Ruleville that spelled their name HANNAH and they are not related.
I will check the cemetery again when I go there on labor day weekend and let you know. I have a number of headstones that I took pictures of and have not posted yet. I will do that as soon as I can.
I have tried researching our family history on the Hanna side and I am still working on it. There is no one left as they have all passed away so I am looking at census records and talking to my cousins about all of this but most of them don't know anymore than I do. I will get back with you and soon as I can

I will have to research it a little more but I think there is a William Hanna buried at Letron. My grandmother was a Hanna and I think that William was her grandfather. I will be in Miss. around labor day and I will check it again. What is your relationship with him?
