|Bonita Olmer||Jack Casterline Grave Photo|
I got a better grave photo for him and posted it to his memorial page. :)

Oh, there has to be at least one alias for him, but how would you ever find out what it was. Or maybe an alternate spelling of the last name. Hmmm.

Well, I took photos of a whole section of that row, and then I looked closely at them when I got home today. I was finally able to identify a name on the temporary marker to the right of his, so now I know which grave is his. The temporary marker or markers are probably only about 1/6 exposed. Nothing is readable with it that way. Althought I might go back to the cemetery tomorrow after work, I probably will not take the time to cut the sod away until maybe Saturday. Never married and no children, and yet he had 7? Wow. There are so many stories (and story tellers) out there, aren't there?

I have claimed your photo request for Jack Casterline. I went to the cemetery yesterday and looked for his grave. It is in an area where there are quite a few donated graves with two or three people in each plot. Those graves typically have concrete markers with names and the plot number only. Those markers were meant to be temporary, and they are overgrown by sod and worn to the point where they are virtually unreadable. Since there are so few permanent markers in the area, it is difficult to pin down exactly where he is. I will see what I can do. My question to you is this. When I locate his plot and take an area photo, do you mind if I mark his grave by placing an American flag there?
