|Jenny E.||Geo & Carolyn Hengst photo Requests|
I was at Spring Grove in Sec 28 Lot 14. Spring Grove records say there are 8 burials in Sec 28 Lot 14. I only found 3 markers here. Clinton & Margaret Bunten (Carolyn Hengst's parents) and George Hengst. There was no marker for Carolyn. I have posted Clinton and Margaret's markers on their memorials. I will do the same for George Hengst.

Bob, I have claimed 2 photo requests for you. I am sorry that I will not be able to complete these until the week of Aug.11. Forest Rose is very large. One of the graves is in section B, but there are 3 or 4 sections B's there. If you want me to unclaim them, please send me a message.
|Beth Sparrow||Kinnan in Shelby|
I fulfilled your photo requests for Kinnans in Shelby. I would've done them sooner but I didn't get an email about them and just now checked that cemetery.
|Kevin Finch||Clara Mapes|
I fulfilled your photo request for Clara Mapes, But Ive got to tell you, it is very faded and difficult to make out with the naked eye. I have tried saturateing the color and adding contrast, but it is just too faded. I believe her Husband Jess is next to her, and his marker is even worse. I will post it on his site if you like, but it is almost eledgible. Let me know.
I do not have any Garnsey's listed at RHC #33. I don't recognize the name as being in any of our sites, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure how else to direct you. It is possible that the markers existed, but were gone before the site was first recorded in the 1930's.
|Joanna Case||Beebe & Hannah Denison|
These two are not buried in Elm Grove. There are 3 Beebes in the Denison Burial ground and one Hannah on same page of Hale. Information is from "Stonington Graveyards; index to Hale and also checking Elm Grove records.
|Joanna Case||Frederick & Hannah Fish Denison|
There are no Denisons buried in the Fish Cemetery. There is a Frederick, d 9/1/1832; 69yr and Hannah, his widow, who d 2/22/1847; 82yr in Elm Grove. Same?
|Bob||Mary and Paul Martin|
Hi Bob, did some checking at the office at Oakland in St. Paul. Mary and Paul are unmarked according to the office, it was the right location. However it is a 5 grave plot with their son Edward L. he has a memorial in Find A Grave already, son Frank P. 1878- and daughter in law Lela M. 1893-1981. I will get a pic of Frank and Lela, I will add a pic of the plot location on Mary and Paul's memorial page. I hope I made sense to you. any ? give me a ring. Take care, Bob.

Sadly, there is absolutely NO cooperation from the San Luis Cemetery with Find A Grave volunteers. However, according to the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society you can request a photo of who you are looking for by doing the following:
Address your email to email@example.com
Put in the subject line San Luis Cemetery Headstone photo
Give them the name and birth and death dates, or as much as you know. Ask them to send a picture of the headstone, and tell them how you are related or what your interest is in this person. They will appreciate that.
They will send you the photo as an attachment to email. They took photos of the thousands of headstones they indexed in 2009 and 2010. They photographed virtually all headstones that could be deciphered. Everyone, who was buried there before 2009-2010, and who has a headstone, has a picture of their headstone in the database of the Genealogical Society. The society will respond to individuals, but prefers not to send pictures in bulk to Find A Grave volunteers. They also have not made an agreement to download their data to the Find A Grave servers.
Please remove your request from F-A-G after you receive your photo. Thank you.
This information may only be used in genealogical research.
