I was born and raised in Nebraska but have lived in Alaska for 20 years now. My dad Phil Sukup's family is German Bohemian. My mom Ruth Morris' family goes back to Plymouth days. I have been doing family history since 1999 and have not just acquired names and places but People with interesting stories! I am so thankful to them for the sacrifices they have had to make in their lives and for just being. For without them, I wouldn't be....|

You requested a photo of Edwin Carrier in the Bayard Cemetery. My sister and I were able to find him and his wife, Melissa, and next to them Cecil Carrier. They were the only Carriers in that cemetery we could find. I just wanted to let you know in case this helps your search. Good luck!

|Brenda Runyon||Mary Curtis|
Thank you again for the information regarding this family.

Thank you for all the information regarding Austin Curtis.
|Robert Fahey||Emma Steffen & Soukups|
I see what you mean about Emma not being listed among the Soukups on the ship. But maybe there was some error, because Mary Soukup's obituary lists Mrs. John Steffen of Ackley as a surviving daughter:

|Jenine Kimbler||RE: Andrew and Mary Sedivy Sukup|
Thanks - I'll look for the photo.

I am working on my husband's family tree on Ancestry, and noticed your photo of Mary Sedivy Sukup. My husband's grandmother was Delores Lillian Sedivy Ellis (daughter of Frank Sedivy and Josefa Soulek), and I try to put a picture with entry on his tree. Do you allow people to use your photos, and if so, do you mind if I use it on ancestry in his tree? The tree is public (Kimbler Family Tree). Thanks, and I hope to get time over the winter break to look over his family members on your webpage.

Thank you for the edit suggestions to quite a number of my memorials. Please read my profile as I address how I process edits. The Oakland entries will eventually get obituaries attached as I look them up as I get a chance and I can confirm much of the information through them. If you have documentation that your edit suggestions are confirmed please let me know what your source is. Otherwise please be patient as I will prove it myself or I will not accept the edit. It is the holiday season and my time is stretched a little thin. Thank you, Jeanne
