RE: Amanda Henson Townson
Connie, Thank you for all your kind remarks. Hollywood is a mess - it is also very huge and covers four large corners. Much of it is very wooded, as it has been growing up since 1969, when it was once again sold.
You will be find to go there during the day - I have been there many times by myself, working on the people buried there. Go to www.stephensroots.com - James Stephens has made a website, so you can find them easier. He helped me for the last several years, documenting each and every grave marker. Many graves, though, do not have markers and I have listed them by obituaries, death certificates - basically any way I could find them, as the owners will not help in any way, but have all the records.
When you get on James' website, click on "Other", then Hollywood. The names are in alphabetical order and it will give you the location, so that you will not look in vain. The cemetery is a daunting place to look, if you do not know where they are buried. He has a map, divided into sections - I would print out a copy or draw one off, so when you go, you can pretty much go to their graves. Hoping this will help you. Judy
